Crewhelm documentation

Crewhelm is an owner-operated control plane for long-lived Agents on Cloudflare. You define how an Agent works, grant the minimum capabilities it needs, and run or automate bounded work through an authorized MCP client.

The local CLI installs, upgrades, and diagnoses Crewhelm. MCP is the ongoing administration surface for Agents, Runs, Connections, Briefs, Workflows, Schedules, Event Triggers, approvals, and recovery.

Start here

1. Install Crewhelm.
2. Connect an MCP client.
3. Create and run your first Agent.

Operate Crewhelm

• Run an Agent for one bounded turn or a continued owner-private conversation.
• Use a Workflow for a known sequence of two to eight ordered Runs.
• Add Briefs and Skills without confusing context with authority.
• Connect an integration or a reviewed remote MCP server.
• Start work from Schedules or connected-app events.
• Diagnose and recover when work stops or an external effect is uncertain.

Crewhelm treats prompts, retrieved pages, provider responses, remote MCP metadata, and Agent output as untrusted data. They can inform work, but they cannot grant authority, approve actions, or change policy.
